Career path
Coco Cerrella is an Argentine graphic designer and visual activist. He graduated from FADU-UBA in 2001 and began teaching at that same faculty in 2007. Since 2012 he has led design courses in prisons — a practice of graphic pedagogy in contexts of incarceration that shares common ground with Liberté's work. His human rights posters have been exhibited in 40 countries and are included in the book The Design of Dissent, compiled by Milton Glaser and Mirko Illić. He is a recurring figure at the Trimarchi festival in Mar del Plata, where he has led workshops such as "La Ruta de los Logos" and "Activismo Gráfico." In connection with Liberté, he participated alongside Betina Ferrara in a mandala intervention inside the cooperative's territory, as part of the Trimarchi festival.
